The Judd Pullover makes a bold yet elegant statement with large, minimalist intarsia motifs on the front and back inspired by the minimalist modern artwork of Donald Judd. The boxy silhouette is sophisticated and flattering with a modified drop shoulder, a split hem and a cozy funnel neck. Refined details, like subtle shaping around the shoulders and a lateral braid at the collar’s base, elevate the design even further. The intarsia design is very easy, perfect for a first- timer trying out this fun technique.

The sweater body is worked flat from the bottom up in two pieces with short-row shaping at the shoulders. The front and back shoulders are joined with a 3-needle bind off then the sides are seamed. The sleeves are worked circularly from the top down for easy length adjustment and include short row shaping at the cap. The funnel neck collar is worked circularly from stitches picked up around the neckline and finished with a tubular bind-off. Design your own unique colorway using the coloring page and yardage estimates included with this pattern.

Audephil : "Perfectly written pattern with attention to details and very clear notes about modifying length. This would be a great pattern to try a bottom-up construction and/or Intarsia. Love the direct links to the instructional videos embedded directly in the instructions. If you are planning to use stash, you will find detailed yardage requirements for each section."

PurlsPurlsPurls: "I loved making this sweater - it was an easy knit to complete while watching TV, but with enough to keep it interesting by working the intarsia sections. It's quick to complete and perfect for someone new to sweater knitting or intarsia. The fit is also fantastic, and it's quickly becoming a go-to sweater for me this winter"

Biggreenboots: "This graphic pattern creates an instantly eye-catching design which stands out in the crowd. As my first intarsia sweater project, I found it approachable with links to helpful instruction videos. It works well with both non-superwash and superwash yarns. The three-color scheme offers endless opportunities to play"

Jpsherman: "I love the bold modern look of this sweater and it is the perfect project for beginners to learn intarsia."
